Content Policy
Last updated: 25 August 2026
SpotMyPixel is a public advertising canvas. Uploaded images and destination links must be lawful and appropriate for public display. We may reject, disable, or remove placements or links that violate this policy or the Terms.
Your confirmation
Before payment you must confirm that your image and destination comply with this policy. You remain responsible for the artwork and for the destination page, including after publication if that page later changes.
Prohibited content
Do not submit images or destinations that include, advertise, or promote:
- Sexually explicit or pornographic material
- Nudity that is not appropriate on a public advertising canvas
- Sexual services
- Malware, phishing, or other attempts to compromise devices or steal credentials
- Scams or clearly misleading offers
- Illicit goods or services
- Hate or extremist material
- Graphic violence
- Clear copyright or trademark infringement
- Other material we reasonably determine is harmful, abusive, or otherwise prohibited
Links, redirects, and evasion
Destination URLs may be normalised, redirects may be followed, and the landing page may be scanned automatically. Shortened URLs, redirect chains, cloaking, or other techniques do not avoid these checks. After publication we may re-scan links and disable destinations that appear unsafe. Public clicks may go through a SpotMyPixel /go redirect. We do not guarantee that external sites remain available.
You must not try to evade this policy by:
- Redirects or URL shorteners that hide a prohibited destination
- Cloaking or showing different content to reviewers than to the public
- Misleading links or images that do not match the destination
- Any similar circumvention of automated or human review
How we moderate
We run automated safety checks (including third-party classifiers). Automated screening can reject content and can make mistakes. Ordinary purchases that pass those checks are published after verified payment. We may still disable or remove placements or destination links later, including after reports or a re-scan. Human review remains available for reports and exceptional cases.
Rejected or disabled placements remain claimed and are not automatically re-sold. If we remove or disable content because you violated this policy or the Terms, that does not by itself create a refund right, except where required by applicable law. Mandatory consumer rights are not waived.
If artwork is hidden specifically as an image content violation, the purchaser may submit a replacement image through the secure management flow. A passing replacement may restore public display only when the order remains valid, the placement was not disabled for another administrative reason, and the destination URL is not blocked. Replacing an image does not unblock a prohibited destination URL. Destination URLs cannot be edited in that flow.
